In the afternoon, a joint trip to the pretty town of Esch-sur-Alzette was undertaken, where two guided tours offered interesting information on the history of Esch. The evening was completed by a delicious dinner at the Kulturfabrik Esch.

The Conference ended with a lively plenum discussion on Wednesday, in which four CIDER Fellows from different cohorts discussed the subject “Educational Research and Societal Crisis” on the basis of a stimulating Input presentation by Anna Vignoles (Leverhulme Trust).
