The Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) represents the central structural component of the training strategy of the CRC and aims to equip doctoral researchers with complementary skills beyond their specific projects, while fostering their transition to academic independence.

Objectives
The primary focus is on practice-oriented training in the latest methodological approaches and technologies, as well as on promoting interdisciplinary exchange between the projects of CRC 1436 in the field of neural resources of cognition.
A secondary focus lies on knowledge transfer and translation, supported by a streamlined, career stage–appropriate program of workshops, professional qualification opportunities, and networking formats. This program supports the development of translational competencies and long-term scientific success.
