It is organized jointly by the ZEW, the <a href=\"https:\/\/uni-tuebingen.de\/en\/faculties\/faculty-of-economics-and-social-sciences\/subjects\/department-of-social-sciences\/education-sciences-and-psychology\/institute\/about\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uni-tuebingen.de\/en\/faculties\/faculty-of-economics-and-social-sciences\/subjects\/department-of-social-sciences\/education-sciences-and-psychology\/institute\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iqb.hu-berlin.de\/en\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.iqb.hu-berlin.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institute for Educational Quality Improvement (IQB)<\/a>, in cooperation with the CIDER Coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-85397_d3ef0d-5c .kt-block-spacer{height:60px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-85397_d3ef0d-5c .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-85397_d3ef0d-5c\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The CIDER Spring Workshop 2026 brings together Fellows, Steering Committee members, and invited experts for three days of interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration in Mannheim. The workshop combines individual presentations by the Fellows, two keynote lectures, and intensive work in Micro Groups, creating space for both scholarly discussion and the development of joint research ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program features a keynote speech by <a href=\"https:\/\/uni-tuebingen.de\/en\/faculties\/faculty-of-economics-and-social-sciences\/subjects\/department-of-social-sciences\/education-sciences\/units\/school-education\/staff-1\/lachner-andreas-prof-dr\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/uni-tuebingen.de\/en\/faculties\/faculty-of-economics-and-social-sciences\/subjects\/department-of-social-sciences\/education-sciences\/units\/school-education\/staff-1\/lachner-andreas-prof-dr\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prof. Dr. Andreas Lachner<\/a> (University of T\u00fcbingen), as well as a plenary discussion on the future of education with leading scholars from different disciplines. A highlight of the workshop is the visit to the <a href=\"https:\/\/mannheim.tumo.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mannheim.tumo.de\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TUMO Center Mannheim<\/a>, where participants engage with practitioners and learn about innovative approaches to digital skills education for young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across the workshop, Fellows present their ongoing work, discuss data and methods, and receive interdisciplinary feedback.
