People may move for a wide variety of reasons\u2014for example, as a strategy to improve their work situation or overall life circumstances. To date, research on spatial mobility has primarily focused on career- and labor market\u2013related outcomes, such as analyses of wages or occupational status. Little is known, however, about the effects of spatial mobility on subjective quality of life. This DFG-funded research project therefore examines the impact of spatial mobility on people\u2019s subjective quality of life. Subjective quality of life is understood as a multidimensional construct, encompassing health-related aspects as well as factors of subjective well-being.
