An active international component of the network is its commitment to the promotion of young researchers within the framework of the College for Interdisciplinary Educational Research (CIDER). It was founded in 2013 in the firm belief that the field of empirical educational research can benefit greatly from interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration. This approach has now been successfully implemented across three cohorts, so that a further 30 fellows will have the opportunity to participate in CIDER from 2024. These mainly take place within the framework of CIDER.
