The Research Data Centre (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"FDZ (\u00f6ffnet in neuem Tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.forschungsdatenzentrum.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\">FDZ<\/a>) is connected to the IQB and collects the data from national and international school performance surveys and makes it available to researchers. The data includes in particular educational studies like PISA or the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target Group<strong> <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Researchers and advanced students in educational research, sociology, psychology, social sciences, and subject didactics <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The method workshops organized by the FDZ aim at deepening the competencies for analyzing data from educational studies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Theme Focus<strong> <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice of topics reflects current developments in educational research. Topics which are established in educational research are covered as well as methods which are relatively new to the field.
